कपि सुग्रीव राम संग,मैत्री करवाई।बाली बली मराय,कपीसहिं गद्दी दिलवाई ॥
जारि लंक को ले सिय की,सुधि वानर हर्षाये।कारज कठिन सुधारे,रघुवर मन भाये ॥
शक्ति लगी लक्ष्मण के,भारी सोच भयो।लाय संजीवन बूटी,दुःख सब दूर कियो ॥
ले पाताल अहिरावण,जबहि पैठि गयो।ताहि मारि प्रभु लाये,जय जयकार भयो ॥
घाटे मेहंदीपुर में,शोभित दर्शन अति भारी।मंगल और शनिश्चर,मेला है जारी ॥

Most Hanuman aartis could be sung anywhere. This one names its own address: the ravine at Mehandipur in Rajasthan, and the Tuesday and Saturday melas held there, which still run. The verses before it are a compact life — the sun swallowed in childhood, the alliance with Sugriva, Lanka burnt, the sanjivani brought for Lakshmana, Ahiravana killed in the underworld — and then the aarti simply stops being general and points at a place.
