BhajanDhara is free to read. These terms say what you may do with what you find here, and what the site does and does not promise.

The sacred texts themselves
Many traditional scriptures and historic compositions presented here are in the public domain. The library also includes original BhajanDhara devotional adaptations, which are not presented as public-domain works. If you reuse a particular source edition, check its attribution or licence terms; contact us when the status of a text is unclear.
What is ours
The line-by-line meanings in English and Hindi, the introductions and notes, the transliterations, the arrangement of the collection and the design of the site are the work of BhajanDhara and are protected by copyright.
You are welcome to:
- read, print and use any of it for your own devotion, study or teaching;
- quote reasonable portions — a meaning, a note, a few lines — with a credit to BhajanDhara and a link to the page;
- share links to any page, anywhere.
Please do not, without written permission:
- copy our meanings or notes wholesale onto another website, app, book or video;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site to build a competing collection or dataset.
Accuracy
Traditional texts are checked against available sources, but copies of the same hymn genuinely differ, and mistakes can survive checking. BhajanDhara is a reading library, not a religious authority: for ritual, initiation or questions of practice, follow your own tradition and teacher. If you find an error, please tell us — see below.
Promises made by the texts
Many devotional texts close by promising what their recitation will bring — health, a child, release from debt, prison or illness. These are the traditional claims of the texts, and we reproduce them faithfully because they are part of the text. They are not medical, financial or legal advice, and nothing on this site is. If you are unwell, please see a doctor.
Advertising and links
The site is supported by advertising, which is labelled and kept off the verses. An advertisement is not an endorsement. Links to other sites are provided for reference; we do not control those sites and are not responsible for them. How advertising uses data is explained in the privacy policy.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is, without any warranty that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, BhajanDhara is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the site or reliance on its content.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date at the top will change when they are. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
