Dedicated toMaa Lakshmiकमल लक्ष्मी को उस सौन्दर्य और विकास से जोड़ता है जो कीचड़-भरे जल में भी उभर सकता है। यह उनका आसन है और पद्मा तथा कमला जैसे नामों में आता है।
जल अर्पित करते हाथी गजलक्ष्मी की छवि बनाते हैं और राजसी गरिमा, वर्षा, उर्वरता तथा प्रचुरता को जोड़ते हैं। धान्य, कलश और सिक्के पोषण तथा चलायमान संसाधनों का संकेत हैं।
कई क्षेत्रीय परम्पराओं में उल्लू लक्ष्मी का वाहन है। अर्थ भिन्न हैं—अँधेरे में सजगता, लोभ का खतरा या संसाधन बढ़ने पर विवेक की आवश्यकता।
कोई प्रतीक धन की गारंटी नहीं देता। उसका मूल्य चिंतन और उससे प्रेरित नैतिक आचरण में है।
